The idea of counselling can seem daunting. To help with this, I think it's important for people to know a little about me and the way I work.

I am a qualified counsellor based in Brighton and Hove, offering both open ended or short term services to adults and young people. I am registered with the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) which means that my training has been accredited by a professional body.

As well as private practice, I have been working as a counsellor in the charity and education sectors for a number of years.

I particularly enjoy working with individuals that feel anxious, low in self-esteem and with people who identify as LGBTQ+.

There are lots of different types of counselling. I work in a person-led, integrated way, which means I use a number of different trainings to inform our work together. This allows me to offer a tailored approach to our sessions. Sometimes we may talk about how you feel in the here and now, or talk about past experiences. Both of which can also be explored through more creative techniques such as using artwork, metaphors and grounding. My role is to find what works best for you.
